| Hi, I used to get knocked down by sinusitis every 4 months or so. The thing that changed it was learning Reiki. Since giving myself Reiki on a regular basis, I had not had sinusitis in 6 years (until last month when I neglected to give myself Reiki and it hit me again.) Hope this helps, Dirk Bansch www.bronze-dragon.com NLP, Reiki, Shamanix |

| Or try Feldenkrais. I used it last night to relieve tension in my back, neck and shoulders and my sinuses cleared up right away. And I've been breathing freely ever since! Take care and good luck! Venus |

Strange as it may seem, sinusitis is often related to tension in the upper back, shoulders and neck. Acupunturists say "stomach meridian"... which is in that general area. There are also pressure points just below the cheekbones on the front of your face that work nicely (tho are often somewhat painful to massage if your sinuses are infected). My own allergies and sinusitis cleared up when I started practicing yoga, many years ago. Feldenkrais, massage, kinesiology, and acupunture all have their uses. As for NLP or hypnosis, that can be adjunct to any of the above... You can use hypnosis to suggest to your unconscious mind (which we don't have, of course, but it still somehow takes these suggestions) that you'll learn to move and stretch in ways that alleviate the tension associated with the sinusitis. 93 93/93 Phil http://hawkridgeproductions.com/ |
