Default creative visualization

Hi. Just a quick question. When visualizing a future goal is it better
to see through my eyes as If I'm in the situation or is it better to see
me in the situation so I see my body?

I've read a lot up on this and no one seems to give a straight answer.
It is not specifically stated or is a contradiction.

TIA

When I imagine a future goal I use ALL the different modalities,
visual, kinesthetic, auditory, plus olfactory and gustatory (smell and
taste). I make the experience as intense as I can to make it as
enjoyable as I can. I also like to see myself experiencing the goal in
a disassociated manner also to see myself as others might. Try it out
and have fun.
Good Luck,
H

Hi. I like to act "as if" I have already reached the goal. I think
about what my life would be like on a day-to-day basis if I had already
accomplished what I set out to do. I "practice" making decisions that
I would have to make on a daily basis. That way, whenever I actually DO
achieve the goal, it won't catch me off guard and I will be able to
take it in stride -- without missing a beat.

Ya just gotta be ready for opportunity when it strikes!

If you see it through your eyes and it becomes vivid, then you might think
you have already achieved the goal and thus do not have the burning desire
to achieve what you have already achieved.

If you disassociate yourself from it and see watch yourself achieve the
goal, then when you go out of trance and into uptime then you'll know it
hasn't happened yet, but will. Also setting timelines might be good so you
see it happen in the future, but not too far in the future.
Then move toward the reality where your vision merges with your reality and
bingo.......it's time for a new goal!

Visualising a goal doesn't necessarily make it happen.

If you're visualising a new behaviour (including auditory,
kinaesthetic, etc), associating fully into that behaviour is a form of
mental rehearsal, activating that neurology (so to speak) in safety. It
also can be used to imagine (or experience) what it's like and
unconsciously fill in some details of the effect on others and into the
future. You might find some objections to the goal.

If you've got a long term goal, you can explore what it's like
similarly, but it's worthwhile exploring the steps you can take to get
there, so that you can build a path and see the way forward. Generally
speaking, visualising both associated and dissociated will give you
different information, but it's being associated that connects to your
own intentions.

Check out the "Well formed outcome" too (do a search, or see
