Default Personal Self Improvement Study Guide

To help myself, I keep a running Word file (it is over 67 pages long
now) with little tid-bits that I want to remember and apply to my game.
I review this document weekly before sarging, using the color coding in
Word to highlight things that I want to master that week.

Start a similar file for yourself, but be frugal about what you post in
it. Do not overload yourself with senseless reference material...only
include the core technology that will help you improve your game. A new
routine, some inner game technique that you want to internalize, LMR
tactics. Only you will know what will help your game. A whole library
of material chosen by someone else is not going to help you nearly as
much as a personal catalogue of the techniques that resonate with your
life.
Another great ideas to put to use is with a voice recorder. A voice
recorder allows you to quickly record thoughts and ideas before you
forget them the next day. They can then later be reviewed at any time
anywhere you are as long as you have the voice recorder with you. The
advantage of using a voice recorder is that you save time. Typically
voice is two times faster than typing. It's independent on location. So
you can record a memo to refresh your mind and take you back if you
seem to get distracted, no matter where you are. Also a voice recorder
is easier to listen to when you are driving or if you are at work if
you are allowed to bring an MP3 player.

A third advice is to use posters and a writing board in your bedroom.
Every time you have a thought or an idea, you write it down in plain
big letters on the poster or on the board with a crayon. It's quick and
easy to write down ideas and they stand out every time in your room so
you are reminded of useful principles every day. You can get a bunch of
poster sheets at a dollar store and use crayons to write down your
thoughts. You can use different colors for illustration to make it more
evident for yourself. A board is more advantageous if you want to look
presentable when you have friends coming over. Even if you have a girl
over, she won't mind as long as your notes look presentable because it
looks like you're just brainstorming. Plus a board is easy to wipe out
if you want some privacy. You'll later have to write it down all over
again, which is good practice any way. Poster paper is better for
keeping an archive and a record or your material, except for that it
looks kind of cheap and is not as presentable visually.

am i the only one picturing like little kid scrible letters in crayon
on the wall sayings something like.

"If a HB Gives You LMR Shut here Out by Going and Checking your Email"

And by some amazing fit of heavens grace a women actually goes into
SR's bedroom and says something like.

"Jeeze if I wasn't a UG3 i would totally be offended by that"

SR, i know i am too hard on you and you mean really well but you need
to get out of the house and get some real field experience. Being a KJ
isn't doing anyone any good and is a waste of your time.
