Default Please recommend audio series with guided exercises and not much fluff.

I'm looking for an audio NLP series, preferably by someone with a decent
voice, that leads the listener through various NLP patterns and that isn't
amidst a lot of fluff explaining how to use the patterns, etc.. Something I
can play repeatedly, perhaps with a pre-pattern relaxation phase. Can
someone recommend a good one? Thanks.

Richard Bandler's Personal Enhancement Series fits your requirements.
I'm not going to unreservedly recommend it - some people love it,
others hate it. I personally find that most of the CDs are a little
long for my tastes (they're each 45 minutes and could all easily be 10
minutes shorter) but he does a great job of building up really powerful
anchors and generalising them through your life.

Paul Scheele's Paraliminal CDs typically contain related NLP processes.
They are dual voice throughout the whole induction (ie. there is a
voice in your left ear typically telling metaphors at the same time as
a voice in your right ear typically guiding you through an NLP
process). Though dual voice techniques might be a great way to get
people into trance through their confusional effects, I'm not sure how
effective it is to maintain them throughout the whole induction. The
production quality is excellent however.

Finally, there's Paul Mckenna's box sets, called either "Success For
Life" or Positivity. Same thing as far as I know. He puts a lot of NLP
processes onto each tape/CD, with one side/track being explanation, and
the other being a hypnotic induction. Paul sometimes sounds like he's
doing a caricature of Barry White when doing hypnosis, but the content
is fine. It's also the most likely to be dirt cheap on ebay (whatever
that says about it - perhaps that it's just the most mass marketed of
the three...).

Of all of them, I think Bandler's is the most interesting, creative,
and the best for eliciting strong states. I'm sure others would have
their own opinions on the matter, and perhaps other suggestions.

Joe.
