It's the self-talk that usually gets me into fear and anxiety.

People learn so much about communication, how to make people like them,
how to persuade people of anything, sales and marketing...

....yet, people never really learn to communicate effectively with
themselves.

Its why a lot of people have "problems" or "lack of response" when using
affirmations.

I disagree. How will talking to myself in a positive ways, or reframing
certain way of speaking, will make me get a better paying job or get me to
take up new projects?

Won't exposure and belief change work be much better than "smarter"
affirmations?

I am curious to know how you would proceed.

I don't think that Self-Talk is just affirmations?

Did anyone try Self-Talk by Shad Helmstetter, Ph.D?

Does it works?
I can't find much web pages about it?

And where can I find forum, portal, any community about Self-Talk?
