| I took a class from Michael Grinder and to my surprise found that he was extremely incompetent and rude. Obviously, this man had disorder problem. All I did was trying to ask a question while he was writing on the board. He turned around and almost yelled at me. I had never seen any speaker/trainer/consultant this rude in my life. Please ask him not to do it again: info@michaelgrinder.com Regards, Jim |

I have a bad temper - fortunately, my experiences in life taught me to have a hatred of blowing up at others. Its made a big though imperfect difference. |

| "Some people think that superior knowledge gives them the right to act like jerks. " I agree, and I believe it must be a big warning sign for you to run away. Cuz you know what that means right? The guy is supposedly teaching you to fix yourself, do something new, but he has spent all his life on something yet wasnt able to fix that little thing? Now there are 3 things I would suspect in that kind of a scenario; 1- Is it the guy who is screwed and cant use the tool properly? 2- Is the tool actually not that successful but is being touted so? 3- Does the tool need to be filtered for crap and also for valuable parts in it? Jim, I suggest you to approach both NLP ,any mindset and any guru you meet critically. I think thats the most valuable lesson NLP has thought me. Why? Cuz when a person starts believing somethign that doesnt translate into results in real life what he does is WASTING TIME of his precious life. I have lost around 3 years trying to make NLP work. I know others who have lost a decade or more, than realized that it didnt bring the results it claims. So approach critically even those who say something has worked for them great; take a look at them.. do they look balanced? or have they become nothing but an egoist? or are they actually acting as weird as they were before but telling they have changed because they believe they have an invaluable tool at their hands? Now I want to mention this; I write these never to judge any system or person but to give some of my experiences so that others dont lose time of their precious lives learning the lessons I have learned by experience. Take care, Harun |

| Michael Who? Hall? Hmm, can't he use nlp to fix that? I find it kind of disturbing that nlp trainers like him, who have these bad traits, can't use nlp to fix it. What really does that say about nlp? As I said before, time and time again, nlp sucks, yet most of you are not willing to look at the cold hard facts and hang on to what you feel about it instead. Funny thing is, I used to feel the same way too, but then I got smart. UnKAH HellBwat On Mar 10, 2:39 am, master_...@yahoo.com wrote: > Hi Venus, > > No, you are wrong. | Harun, Nice post. Too many NLP guys don't play in the real world. They live in theory world Theory world lets them complicate stuff, and sound kool. Too many trainers live there. Real world requires that we always seek out something even more simple and effective. Seek out ways to simplify what you have learned, while playing with it in real life. We call that dirt time, the time when you get down and dirty exploring how this works in the ghetto and in life. As I began training in NLP I had a strong background in martial arts and american indian skills and philosophy. Both of those required that I be street smart. Keep it simple.... I was a cop and a survivalist. So when I explored NLP my eyes saw opportunity to simplify. And that's what I do, and what seems to work. That's a huge nlp key. simplify. take it to the street. And have fun.
